The main cast has been revealed for Wasteful Days of High School Girls (known in Japan as Jyoshi Kousei no Mudazukai, or "JyoshiMuda" for short), an upcoming TV anime based on the humorous web manga by BINO about a trio of young ladies that are impressively squandering their youth. The main cast includes:
- Chinatsu Akasaki as Nozumu Tanaka, aka "Baka".
- Haruka Tomatsu as Akane Kikuchi, aka "Ota".
- Aki Toyosaki as Shiori Saginomiya, aka "Robo".
- Maria Naganawa as Saku Momoi, aka "Loli".
- Miyu Tomita as Minami Yamamoto, aka "Yamai".
- Rie Takahashi as Kanade Nimomae, aka "Majime".
- and Others.
The story of Wasteful Days of High School Girls follows the everyday lives of three high school girls: Nozumu Tanaka, aka "Baka", who is bad at standardized tests; Akane Kikuchi, aka "Ota", who is a boys' love manga addicted fujoshi; and Shiori Saginomiya, aka "Robo", who is talented but expressionless.
The original Wasteful Days of High School Girls manga is serialized in Kadokawa's Web Newtype digital manga magazine. Additional details about the Wasteful Days of High School Girls TV anime, such as the staff and the release date, have not yet been revealed.
